.. on a scale that has not been seen before in this Country. Well that is what we are led to beleive.
I think the important issues have been overlooked in the froth that was created by Gordon Brown taking away the option of holding Residential Property within Pensions, for those clients that had the conversation with me would have known my views, and I was right!
So with this reform comes a planning opportunity for many, and some downsides for a few. I will enable many more people to understand how their Pension Benefits can be taken, and to clear up what can and cannot be done with their arrangements.
I am on hand to provide specific advice where required. meanwhile I have provided some links to other information sources which should clarify many of the points for you.
FSA >> Second Tier State Pension (formerly SERPS) >>
Some in depth detail from UNBIASED >>
As you will see from the above links, there are some major changes underway, and these will have an impact on the plans you have in place and how you can draw benefits from the plans.
We do have some more flexibility being created with the new rules and broadly these are welcome.
If you require further information or would like to discuss your options with me in more detail, please contact me.
