Guaranteed Money – whatever next

This  post  is Guaranteed to save you Money or Make you Money or  I will pay you £200 for your time. (Please see below).

Here are some of the Headlines from the past few weeks, I am sorry for reminding you.

Credit Crunch| Mortgage Misery as Interest Rates Increase | House Prices Heading South |  Inheritance Tax set to bite | More Fuel Increases on the Way  | Council Taxes can only go up |  Nursing home fees, will take most of the equity from your home (perhaps that should read all) |

If you are anything like me you are either bored with the Headlines or are waiting for a Crash or Crunch or similar, but it does not have to be like that.

As for me, I do not believe the hype. There are some issues with the wider economy and we are seeing some issues with liquidity in the Banking Sector. What we are seeing is  that much of  bad news being propagated by the popular press in order to sell newspapers. We live in World where economic cycles drive everything we just happened to have a long run  of one very positive cycle

So what can I do about it?  I am an Independent Financial Adviser and well placed to make recommendations to you in relation to any areas of your Personal Financial Planning.  Those topics covered above are what many  of clients are currently concerned about, whatever your current financial position we can help.

More importantly, whatever your current circumstances the fundamentals still need sorting out,

* You still need to protect your family and your business  in case of death or disability
* You still need to manage your Tax Affairs in order to ensure you do not pay more than is due

* You still need to make sure that you keep a roof over your head at with a mortgage at a reasonable interest rate.
* You and your Parents need to make sure that their respective estates are set up correctly in order to reduce the impact of Inheritance Tax and or the need for Long Term Nursing Home Care in later life.
* You still need to make sure you have adequate plans in place for your Retirement, and review any uncompetitive products you have in place currently.

I fully appreciate that many of our new clients and potential clients do not understand how we can add value to your Personal Financial Planning, which  is why we offer you the unconditional guarantee, if we cannot improve your financial standing/well being at least to the value of £200 we will pay you this amount, I guess if I were an American I would call it a win win.

This is probably the best opportunity  you will have this year to improve your finances, without obligation, and without any commitment Call me today on 0800 781 2031 to arrange a meeting  or email me via the contact pages.

Remember unlike most of the High Street Financial Organisations I am not a Suited Sales Person (much of the time I have given up wearing a suit in any case), Genuine Independent and Impartial Advice awaits, I look forward to speaking to you.

Inheritance Tax – Dual Nil Rate Bands

Some of you will be very aware that we now have a dual allowance for Married Couples and those of you in Civil Partnerships, however there are some glaring problems with the planning and advice in this area:-

First of all, if you die intestate, without leaving a valid Will you could find yourself loosing the dual allowance because of the intestacy rules – therefore you must make a Will.

Secondly – in order to carry forward the ‘dual nil rate’ you need to ensure you keep and maintain certain records in order to convince the Inland Revenue of your entitlement to to the full allowances, and many will have not collated these details on first death.

As one of the very few Independent Financial Advisers specialising in this are of planning, you would be wise to make contact sooner rather than later for a no obligation meeting or conversation.

We don’t bite, turn up for meetings on time and often do not wear a suit (we can if you would prefer).
