Financial Coaching | How much are your vices costing you?

Every budget day we hear the normal cheers if Income Tax reduces and the usual groans when the Beer and Wine increases come into play but for many of us quantifying the actual cost of our habits can be difficult.

For me working with clients in various financial circumstances the starting point in pulling together a financial plan is usually  creating a budget. Working out where the money really goes and it always seems to surprise me that no one really understands properly the impact of a working budget.

We all seem to get it at work, budget cuts = less to spend, budget increases = more to spend and ignore it when it comes to our personal financial planning.

So please prepare a budget as a matter of priority and  start to understand  this:-

You can only increase your spending if you either INCREASE your income or REDUCE expenditure in other areas. Nothing else can happen, save staying the same.

With that in mind if your budget is blown with income not getting any easier, get in touch and see if  I can make a plan for you.

Meanwhile the link below is to a Booze and Fags cost calculator which is amusing and a little scary at the same time.
